Larry McCoy wrote-“You Make Me Wanna”-Thomas Rhett #1
Larry McCoy is a singer-songwriter who landed a record deal with RCA records in 1993, one month after moving to Nashville from Oklahoma. His next five years were spent on the road playing honky-tonks coast to coast. In addition to his solo career, Larry has played guitar and provided background vocals for many different performing artists, and has shared the stage with country greats Brian White and Joe Diffie and rock artist Eddie Money. Most recently, Larry has been playing bass guitar for legend Ray Stevens and writing songs that have been recorded by Thomas Rhett, James Wesley, and Ray Stevens. Larry joined the Song Factory family in the spring of 2013.
Brice Long wrote-“Nothin’ On But the Radio”-Gary Allen #1
Long grew up on a 60-acre farm in Hopkinsville, Ky., working the fields and taking care of cattle and hogs. His family’s musical interests heavily influenced Long as a child. As he grew his music began being influenced by the soulful side of country music, Charlie Rich, Gary Stewart and Conway Twitty.
“Country Music was on the radio in the truck, on the tractor and in the barn,” said Long in a 2005 CMA interview. “I just couldn’t get enough. I would’ve crawled inside that radio if I could.”
